What is a drum circle?    

A drum circle is a group of people gathered into a circle for the purpose of making music with drums and percussion instruments. Different people or tribes have different traditions about the drum and how to play it. Drumming is a way of connecting to mother earth and you can receive healing from the sounds/vibrations with intention.

This is spiritual experience for some and carried down through generations. Some people will choose to dance in the middle of the circle, such as belly dancers.
